Who’s excited about a few days in sunny Sedona? Here is what we have planned!
All bolded activities are part of your registration fee. All non-bolded activities aren’t, and you’ll need to cover the cost, if you’re able to join us.
Come by Jennie/Elizabeth’s room for a welcome cupcake.
Thursday night, 8pm
Most attendees get to town on Thursday, in time for a little kicking-off-the-weekend drinks. We’ll meet at 89Agave (hotel restaurant) for drinks and hugs. The restaurant’s hours say they close at 9pm, but I’ve been told by the hotel they often stay open later if there are customers.
Breakfast is included with our hotel stay! Very cool. So, please enjoy breakfast at your leisure, as we won’t plan an unofficial breakfast elsewhere this day.
Friday, lunch, 11am
Wildflower Bread Company. This is in walking distance from the hotel. I have given them a heads-up about our large group, but they don’t take reservations. You’ll order and sit in small groups.
The organizers will lead an easy hike near the hotel
Friday, dinner, 5pm
A sit-down, pre-fixe dinner at Cucina Rustica. It’s a 15-minute drive to the restaurant from our hotel, so please plan accordingly! Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available.
Saturday, brunch, 1pm
We’ll have our own room at Red Rock Cafe for brunch ($1 mimosas, ladies, so come thirsty!). This is also a 15-minute drive from the hotel, so please arrive on time.
Drinks and apps at the pool. We’ll pre-order enough snacks from the hotel restaurant for everyone to munch on, and you’ll get to order one drink (on us) to wash it down with. (Feel free to open your own tabs from there.) We’ll relax and hang out.
If you’re still hungry and want something a little more organized (or just want to grab dinner with a few of your roommates/close friends after a weekend of group events), please feel welcome to. If you think this might be something you’d like, we encourage reservations, only because Sedona in April is a pretty busy place. You likely can’t stroll into any top restaurant and grab a table and most places won’t be able to accommodate large groups. No worries, if all that organizing, etc., makes you nervous, at least one of the organizers will be hanging out at the pool for more drinks and downtime throughout Saturday night. You won’t be alone, if you don’t want to be! Ultimately, after a day of brunch and snacking, we won’t have an organized dinner on Saturday night—but we want you to have a great time no matter what you end up doing—so we’re giving you a place to hang out (at the pool!), or the freedom to go forth and dine wherever and with whomever you’d like.
Sunday morning, 10am
Even though breakfast is wonderfully included, we’ll meet this last morning for coffee at Pink Java Cafe, for a change of scenery and fancier coffees for our final morning.
We’ll have a PDF itinerary download for you to print or keep on your phone, closer to the event date!
Final organizers’ note: If there’s anything you’d like to plan separately, please feel free to! We love seeing unofficial activities led by others pop up. Use Facebook to advertise your ideas or to organize your group within the group. And if you have any questions, we ask that you email them to firstname.lastname@example.org (much easier for us to address over email than via social media)!
